    Plenty of people can offer communications expertise, plenty of people can offer technical expertise; but few can offer both.

    This often leads to communications campaigns that are full of technical errors. As both a scientist and communicator, I can translate the most complex projects into appealing, accurate media that the public can understand.

  • Does magnetism affect biological processes? Answering this question is why I created the MagInBio Network, a collaboration that brings the best researchers in fundamental physics, biological sciences and medicine together to generate new understanding.

  • My group at the University of Leeds is trying to figure out how to use a class of materials called Topological Insulators to build new Quantum Circuits.

    We’re interested in all things condensed matter, but we especially like using powerful electron microscopes to gain never-before-seen insights into meta-materials with topological components.
